The Return of the Medium

Awhile back I had gone through all of my T-shirts and found that all of the mediums seemed to fit too small and tight. I had become more comfortable with a looser fitting large that I felt was a better fit. Today was the return of the medium.

Out shopping with Rachel, we spotted some quality looking v neck shirts. No not super guido deep v's, just your normal nicer small v shirts. These Arizona brand tees were on sale for $5 each! What a deal. I couldn't help but notice quite the array of colors and ended up picking up 6 new shirts. All in medium! They are a little tighter of a fit but make me appear as if I am somewhat strong since I am no longer "swimming" in them. I also did try on the larges, but much to my dismay found them a little too big.

Even though I prefer a large and like to say I no longer wear mediums, the medium is back and looking better than ever.

It is also important to note that ever since my trip to Europe in August 2012 I am down 15-20 pounds. I thought I had gained it back, but have been eating healthy enough and running enough not too I guess. Perhaps this is why the medium had made its return! Looks like I need to up the diet and get back in the gym.

Other updates:
This post is coming from my phone, hoping to make this a more regular thing. I need to get back to editing as I have a long list of videos to edit including Luta lax 3 filmed yesterday with Beth. Rachel starts new job Monday, squid back to school Tuesday, and I am back on that job hunt as well. Busy busy as life should be! Time to eat healthy and get a fitness plan going. Maybe a return of p00x? We shall see.

That's all for today, Saturday August 10, 2013

Champions

What do the Chicago Blackhawks & the Naperville Apaches have in common?? Besides being both ridiculously good looking, they both are champions.

The Blackhawks became Stanley Cup Champions for the 2nd time in 4 years on Monday night, scoring 2 goals in 17 seconds in the final 1:16 of game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final.

The Apaches were crowned Brewtown Showdown Champions of the men's division this past weekend, after defeating the other top 3 teams on Sunday all in a row. After stomping on all the teams they played in the first day, the Apaches continued this trend and walked all over the dragonfish from Michigan. Then in the semifinal, they took on a tough Stark Enterprise team composed of mostly d1 & d3 commits from the Milwaukee area. After an intense game that was non stop action, the Apaches met Coyote Logistics in the final for the 2nd straight year. A back and forth start, that was followed by a Naperville Apache streak to end the game, gave the Apaches their second straight Men's Division Brewtown Showdown championship.

A fun filled weekend with lots of lacrosse, drinking, and candy. My gopro was checked off my head for the first time, and despite having the gopro knocked off, and then it running out of battery before my goal in the championship, just before halftime, it was an awesome and successful weekend.

Go Hawks, Go Apaches.

Oh and LaxAllStars just featured my From Camera to Camera video which splices GoPro footage from my camera and from that of the Badgers goalie in the fall. I was lucky enough to play him again this weekend in Brewtown, hoping to trade footage again and make another one!

Here is what they had to say about my video.

"While ONE of the Wisconsin Badgers teams have made the move to the MCLA, they still are big enough to have two GLLL teams as well. Recently our buddy Josh sent over this video in our tipline, we absolutely loved it!

An Attackman from the Naperville Apaches and the Goalie from the Wisconsin Badgers both had GoPro’s in a game against each other this spring. When they finally exchanged footage, this was the result. Nice work gentlemen!

This footage really gives a great view of the game from different perspectives and multiple angles."

Music Purge

So lately, despite continuously adding more and more new music, I have been going through and deleting some old music. I had reached 46,000 songs and decided that the time had come to delete a lot of older music styles that I am just not that into anymore. Majority of country, rap, and soundtracks have been since deleted. I've deleted over 3,300 songs and am down below 43,000. The goal is to get to 40,000 and feel comfortably.

Yes it most likely is still way too much, but I just love music!

Music makes me sane and able to do so many things!

Long time since i have blogged, hopefully get back into it.
